I had about 8 NI browser windows open with slightly conflicting instructions. Your Library now appears in the 'Libraries' Tab of the KONTAKT. You can now close Native Access. The installation paradigm is not at first clear.I dont have enough storage space on my pc currently and I only need a few libraries from the whole selection. Somehow I got through it, but it was no fun. And just about anything I did got me an error message.
Kontakt Factory Selection Library Software Was ActuallyThe only way I knew it was working was by watching files appear in Windows File Explorer. During those hours the install program simply looked dead, zero progress bars or any indication that the software was actually running. To this day I don't understand why it took 8 hours just to install the "previews" which to be honest I often find less than useful. It spans everything from deep-sampled symphony instruments and world music sources to vintage drum machines and classic analog synths.Oh, and installing Ultimate took 15 hours, even thought I had a 30 megabytes/second internet connection and "most" of the software on a hard disc. I don.The hugely popular KONTAKT Factory library contains over 43GB of meticulously recorded samples, divided into seven categories, representing over 1,000 individual instruments.![]() Kontakt Factory Selection Library Free Reaktor InstrumentsKontakt Factory Selection Library Download Things SeparatelyLibrary browser is totally empty. There are zero samples in the entire Native Instruments folder, despite their claim of '600 MB samples for free'.Which products are currently listed in Native Access (in the 'Not Installed' and 'Installed Products' Tabs)? The Komplete Player bundle should include all 3 players (Kontakt, Reaktor, Guitar Rig) + sample content (mainly Kontakt Factory instruments) in one package.- I'm assuming you already entered the serial for the Komplete Players (which you got per email) in Native Access: Are there perhaps still some products listed in the 'Not Installed' Tab?- Also make sure to launch the Standalone applications at least once (for database initialization, etc.) before using them as plugin inside Reaper. If this still doesn't solve the problem, you can also try to download things separately:- Kontakt Factory Selection (the second download in the link): - Free Reaktor Instruments (Blocks Wired and Mikro Prism): Or have a look at the Repair and Reinstall functions in Native Access: I hate to insult you, but are you perhaps trying to do things the hard way, and not just loading the instrument from the Kontakt library browser? No offense taken. No sign of the Guitar Rig plugin at all. And too bad being fully Kontakt-compatible raises the price of plugins, since that privilege is not free for developers.I tried this, I ended up with Kontakt 5 and Reaktor 6.
![]() I'll create a new thread so it doesn't derail from the OP. I've registered and tried to run them both as standalone before trying in Reaper. Thanks for the replies, I'll try your recommendations tomorrow.
